Social Club
You may have heard the old expression that dog's follow a strict pack hierarchy. However, studies have shown that while dogs are a social animal the idea of a pecking order is not an accurate depiction of dog socialization. Instead, a dog's socialization is based on cooperation. Packs operate better as a partnership. That is what Prestonwood's Social Club is all about!
That’s why a dog’s socialization with other dogs is important for their safety and well-being. Consistent and active socialization helps by
- Promotes happiness
- Creates a balanced mental outlook
- Prepares a dog to face the world
Prestonwood Kennels helps to fulfill this need by providing a doggy daycare where club members stay active with constant attention from staff members and supervised interaction with other dogs.
Social Club is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
The Prestonwood Social Club is structured to socialize groups with indoor and outdoor activities that are suited for dogs of all sizes. To ensure the safety and well-being of all social club members temperament testing is required and offered at the resort.
Occassionally we allow our social club members to play in the 18-inch deep in-ground doggy pool.
Social Club is available in whole or half-day slots and can be purchased in blocks of ten, twenty, and thirty day packages at a 10% discount. We also offer a 10% savings to multi-dog families.

We also ask that Social Club members:
- Be at least 4 months old
- Have all of their Vaccinations
- Be neutered after 6 months old
- All temperment tests must be scheduled before 10am Monday-Thursday
